'Bloom' Welcoming the coming of Spring

Bloom. Welcoming the coming of Spring
Hear the word, ‘Spring’ and you invariably think of flowers, colour, sunshine, brightness and lightness. Hamilton Gallery is in the planning process of a Spring-related show with the theme ‘Bloom’ in mind.
Hamilton Gallery is celebrating Spring, to uplift the space after all the weeks of rain and grey skies. A few of our contemporary local artists will be creating artworks for sale, which will be hung in a salon style in our main exhibition space.
We envision a wall full of variety – large-scale paintings and mixed-media works; small paintings; framed art and unframed paintings or art prints on paper; as well as fine art photography, available as framed prints or unframed artworks (easy to carry or ship).
The ‘Bloom’ Exhibit 31 August - 10h00
The ’bloom’ exhibit will open on the 31st August at 10am , coincidentally on a weekend market day at The Old Biscuit Mill, Woodstock, Cape Town. Open from 10am to 3pm , both Saturday and Sunday – it will be a great art-buying or art-browsing opportunity for those who like to take a break from the market. Visitors can come upstairs to see our ‘art market’. Running for the month of September, with a possible extension period, there will be plenty of time to visit and revisit.
We invite market-goers; interior decorators; interior designers; families and friends to visit for some art inspiration, and perhaps to buy a gift from our range of smaller art items.
Ranging from affordable, to large conversation pieces perfect for an interior design or new architectural project, there is art for everyone. If not to buy art, visiting the art gallery will offer at the very least, some colour therapy and a real sense, finally, that Spring is in the air.
To get you in the mood, we have found a spring colour palette, seen here. More on this subject to come soon.
