SHIPPING POLICY
Hamilton Gallery Shipping Policy facilitates shipping/courier of the artwork on behalf of the buyer. We provide customized current shipping quotes at checkout once the shipping address is entered. As the artworks are mostly held in the artist’s various studios across South Africa, it is not always possible to package multiple artworks together. In this instance, shipping will be billed separately for each item at checkout.
DELIVERY TIMES AND COSTS
The cost of shipping artwork and the delivery lead times vary depending on the country of destination. The average delivery time within South Africa once payment reflects in our account is 10 – 14 working days unless otherwise noted.
International delivery may take 14 – 21 working days. Dispatch times may vary depending on availability.
Delivery times may be subject to delays as a result of postal or courier/shipping delays, or force majeure, for which Hamilton Gallery will not be held responsible.
When purchasing artworks from Hamilton Gallery for delivery outside of South Africa, the buyer may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches the specified country/destination.
Hamilton Gallery is not responsible for additional charges for customs clearance and cannot advise as to what these charges may be. These costs are subject to change and are not under the control of Hamilton Gallery. As different countries’ customs policies vary, please contact your local customs office for the relevant information and costs that apply to your delivery.

For local deliveries within South Africa, the artwork will be wrapped in bubble wrap/other recommended art packaging with a possible outer layer of corrugated card where necessary.
Artworks to be delivered internationally will be wrapped in the appropriate packaging material; crated; or rolled in a postal tube, depending on the needs required to adequately protect and transport the work.
