RETURNS POLICY
Hamilton Gallery offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on works purchased without being seen in person prior to purchase. If you buy from our online gallery and once seeing the artwork, decide that it is not suitable, return it to us within 7 days of receiving it, in the same condition that it arrived, you will be fully refunded for the artwork. We will arrange and pay for shipping for works returned from within South Africa. Our refund and returns policy does not, however, apply to commissioned artwork.
The purchaser must ensure that the artwork is thoroughly and securely packaged for return shipping. In the case of artworks being damaged in transit from the purchaser to the artist/gallery due to insufficient packaging, we will not accept returns and will not issue refunds. If the artwork is damaged due to negligent/inadequate packaging, the artwork will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Acceptance of returns later than the 7-day stipulated returns window will be at the discretion of Hamilton Gallery.
The client is liable for the cost of the return of artworks shipped outside of South Africa.
International customers, please note that import duties and value-added taxes (VAT) cannot be recovered if you return the artwork for any reason.
RETURNS PROCESS
If you need to return an item, please e-mail us at katherine@www.hamiltongallery.co.za within 7 days of receiving the artwork, with a detailed statement of your reasons for the return request. Please include a collection address and date for collection. We will arrange for a courier to collect the artwork and send the purchaser a confirmation e-mail.
Once the gallery/artist has received the returned item and confirmed that it is in good condition, the refund will be processed. While Hamilton Gallery will endeavour to issue refunds as quickly as possible, please allow for up to 10 working days.
