Juli Jana’s art is about what is there and what is not there, what is hidden and what is not hidden, and what is made and not made or needs to be unmade. Layers found and hidden, perceptions and declarations contrasting with vibes and impressions made upon the soul, the mind, and emotions. Who can say what is to be abstracted or found to be then transferred via pen, brush, scratching instrument or plane onto canvas, cloth, paper, or whatever surface.
